Welcome Needle Felters I’m so glad you are here! My name is Kay Petal and I Felt Alive. I stumbled into needle felting online back in 2007. All it took was one look and I was hooked.
Without any background as an artist and only some unremarkable attempts at crafting under my belt, I felt a very strong urge to know all I could about needle felting. With just a few jabs of a felting needle, my life turned up, down and all around and what a fun ride it’s been. I never imagined those first jabs could help me discover a caricature artists lurking, nor did I have any clue that I was about to make a whole bunch of new friends, both woolly and real.
The biggest surprise has been the ‘invention’ of our amazing Felt Alive Felting Needles. They really do make needle felting even more fun. To quote so many creative needle felters who use our colorful tools every day – “I wouldn’t be without them.”
So again, I’m happy you are here and I’m happy to share all the fuzzy stuff I’ve learned along the way.
