Felting Class – Needle Felted Goddess Sculptures
Discovering the creative Goddess Within
In this needle felting class, we used rich colors of wool and handspun art yarn to create these wonderful needle felted Goddess Sculptures. It is such a fun project for beginner needle felters. See the schedule for upcoming workshops in my studio here in southern Oregon HERE.
I had a wonderful afternoon teaching a small group of ladies the basics of sculptural needle felting. With a pile of gorgeous fiber and a whole lot of creativity, we brought these jewel-toned goddesses to life.
The Goddess Within
She is the little model and the inspiration for the class.
Such a colorful, fun time it is learning how to needle felt.
Adding the hair was a highlight of the workshop with so many choices of roving, curly locks and yarn to choose from.
