Halloween Witch
A flat relief witch you can finish in about half an hour. Pointy nose, curly hair, classic hat — hang it, pin it, or stick it on a bag.
Felt along in real time. Pause when your hands need a minute. These are the same free workshops from Felt Alive — just wool and a color-coded needle, played from YouTube.

What you need
I review supplies in chapter one — start there before you shop. Amounts are for one project.
Needles

- Yellow 40 triangle — single and double
- Blue for the last fine pass on the face
- Felt Alive Felting Needle Six-Pack covers the rest
Wool
- Wool batting for the head — a piece larger than you want, because it shrinks
- Black wool batting for the pointed hat
- Curly wool locks for the hair
- Small amounts of white, black, and red for the eyes and mouth
Tools
- Foam felting pad (8×10" or larger)
- Felting stick (paper lollipop stick or wooden skewer)
- Strong sewing needle — used as a sculpting tool, not for sewing
- Small sharp scissors
