It’s true that this fun craft can be a bit confusing when you are just starting out. That’s why we put together this series of three fun and easy beginner needle felting tutorial projects. Understanding basic concepts and learning simple techniques that will make it all make sense and get you started on the right foot.
Are you brand new to needle felting and don’t know where to begin?
These Felt Alive Beginner Tutorial Videos are a fun way to learn the basics of needle felting. Join Kay at her felting pad to get insight from her 20 years of stabbing wool and teaching others the magic of bringing wool to life. Learn tips, tricks, easy shortcuts and useful felting techniques. You’ll learn about selecting wool and supplies for your projects and how to safely handle your felting needles.
Materials and Supplies
All you really need to needle felt is wool, a felting needle and a foam pad to work on. Of course there is a little more to it. You’ll find detailed materials and supplies lists on each workshop page. NOTE: we no longer carry any wool products you see in the videos.
