Young Love – Needle Felted Dolls

One thing I’ve noticed is that needle felted dolls are a curiosity to most. It’s a very unfamiliar medium with lifelike characteristics. Plus, they are funny and people always seem to have suggestions about what I should make.

My friend, Pat, was visiting while making this couple. He insisted that the old fella wear Superman underwear.

I accepted the challenge to embellish his underwear.

And of course, Gramps needed a woman. So, this free-livin’ lady came to life. They are a fun and happy couple in needle felted wool.

These two are both 100% wool. They are fully jointed and flex and bend without the use of wire armature.
