Shipping Terms and Conditions

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout. We confirm shipment of your order via automated email. If you created an account during checkout, you can check on the status of your orders any time!
 
  • Felt Alive Felting Needles are made-to-order and ship approximately 2-3 business days from date of order.
  • For order processing and delivery purposes, Saturday, Sunday, and national US holidays are not considered business days.
  • Shipping estimates are from date of shipping rather than the date of purchase.
  • You will receive an automated  email with tracking information as soon as your package ships.
  • Tracking numbers are issued by the carrier – we cannot guarantee the frequency or accuracy of tracking updates. For tracking support, contact the carrier directly. (see carrier contact info below)
  • All delivery times are estimates only. US Parcels are not considered lost or delayed until 14 business days after the date of shipping.  International Parcels are considered lost after 8 weeks.
  • International Customers are responsible for any additional charges (customs fees, duty, tax etc.) that may be incurred at the time of delivery.

US Customers 

USPS First Class Mail  

  • ESTIMATED Delivery in 2 to 7 business days from date of shipping.
  • USPS point-by-point tracking NOT AVAILABLE.

USPS Priority Mail 

  • ESTIMATED Delivery in 2 to 7 business days from date of shipping.
  • Includes USPS point-by-point tracking.

International Customers

USPS First Class International

First Class service is offered to keep international shipping costs low – delivery times are unreliable (can take as long as 6-8 weeks.)  Tracking typically only confirms shipment and delivery – not point by point tracking. If you choose this option, patience may be required.

  • Our most affordable international service for small packages up to 4 lbs.
  • Delivery time varies by destination and can take as long as 6-8 weeks.
  • International customers may be assessed duty & taxes by your local customs service.
  • USPS point-by-point tracking NOT AVAILABLE.

  • Delivery times for USPS 1st Class International are estimates only.

USPS Priority Mail International

  • ESTIMATED Delivery in 6 to 10 business days from date of shipping.
  • Reliable service for international delivery with USPS Tracking updates.
  • Delivery times for USPS Priority International are estimates only can vary by destination.
 
PLEASE NOTE :
 
International recipients are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery.   Because these charges are at the discretion of your country’s tax regulations, they cannot be estimated prior to shipping and are not included in the delivery fee or purchase price. We cannot alter pricing on documents as the correct value must be provided and we cannot mark packages as gifts or samples. Refer to your local customs agency for additional information or to dispute any fees you feel are excessive.
 
For orders that are returned to us for refusal to pay additional fees, taxes or duties we will issue a refund less the original shipping charge plus a 5% handling fee upon receipt of merchandise.

Returns

  • Felting needles are fragile and sharp and we cannot guarantee them against breakage and cannot accept returns of felting needles that have been used.
  • We do accept returns if the needle packs have not been opened. Contact Us and let us know you will be sending them back so we know to expect them.
  • Except for items damaged during shipping, customer is responsible for all return shipping fees. If your original order qualified for free shipping, we will deduct our shipping costs from your refund.
  • If your needles were damaged during shipping, please Contact Us immediately, describe the damage and any details that will help us file a claim with the USPS. If possible, include a photo of the unused needles and the damaged packaging. Once we have confirmed the damage, we will make arrangements to replace your order.
  • Packages that arrive marked “Return to Sender” will be refunded less any shipping charges or free shipping costs.
  • We will process a refund via the original form of payment once the item has been received. Please allow up to 3 business days for your refund to be processed.
